查泰莱夫人的情人
故事发生在等级制度森严的英国，年轻的康妮（西尔维娅·克里斯蒂SylviaKristel饰）终于等来了与自己分别多时的丈夫克利福特（ShaneBriant饰），但同时也等来了丈夫下半身永久瘫痪的噩eee。面对残酷的现实，善良的康妮只得默默接受。 一次偶然中，康妮邂逅了庄园的看林人米尔斯（尼古拉斯·克莱NicholasClay饰），后者健壮结实的躯体让康妮的内心激动难耐。一来二往之下，康妮和米尔斯发生了关系，尽管粗鲁的情人大字不识一个，但康妮依旧在他的身上找到了久违的满足与热情。纸终究包不住火，康妮和米尔斯之间的奸情败露，令克利福特大为火光，同时，在英国已经无法生存的米尔斯决定前往加拿大开辟新的天地，究竟该留下还是离开，康妮面临着严峻的选择。

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
