奸杀犯
前皇家海军少校在船上涉嫌强奸海军上士黛安，后来因为告诉人失踪而结案，约翰也被迫退役，成了一名私家侦探。在一桩调查捉奸的案件，调查对象遭到奸杀，第一个出现在案发现场的杜瓦立即成为警方的头号嫌犯。连续四晚，有三名女子惨遭分尸，更惨的是其中一名女子正是杜瓦的女友。警方在被害者体内均验出杜瓦的精液，而杜瓦的指甲里则有被害者的DNA。虽然杜瓦宣称是合意性交仍被送入了监狱，在一周之间接受心理医生评估其心理状态。杜瓦在监禁的期间，普利茅斯又发生了一起同样手法的奸杀案……剧情峰回路转，出乎意料的结局，不到最后一刻，绝对无法猜透真正的凶手。

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
