Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　本片改编自民间传说，几个世纪以来，在不同的文化背景下，父母都会警告他们的孩子要小心传说中的Bagman。Bagman会把无辜的孩子抓走，塞进那肮脏腐烂的袋子里，再也没法回到父母身边。Patrick McKee小时候曾逃过此劫，但这给他的生活留下了永久的创伤。现在，Bagman又回来了，威胁着他妻子Karina和儿子Jake的安全。

　　哈蒙德（理查德•阿滕伯勒 Richard Attenborough  饰）立志要建立一个非同寻常的公园：恐龙将是这个公园的主角。他把众多科学家收归旗下，利用琥珀里面困住的远古蚊子体内的血液，提取出恐龙的基因信息，利用这些信息培育繁殖恐龙。结果如愿以偿，他把怒布拉岛建立成了一个恐龙公园，坚信可以从中赚取大钱。然而，科学家们则忧心忡忡。　　不幸的事情果然发生了。虽然公园有电脑系统管理，但却因为被员工破坏而造成了无法挽救的失控：所有的恐龙逃出了控制区，人们纷纷逃窜却逃不过恐龙的魔爪。恐龙自相残杀，人们亦死难无数，最后幸存者寥寥，只得四人逃出生天。怒布拉岛上空弥漫着恐怖的气息。
